Pay is dependent on experience. Some overtime can be expected as we occasionally work long days.  The opportunity to be promoted within the company is also available!  Foremen can work year-round.  Crew member positions are anticipated to run through late November with an opportunity to do snow removal and hardscaping projects throughout the winter. This position will resume work in early April of the following year.

  • We are looking for a crew member to join our team.  Under the supervision of the business owner or foreman, you’ll be responsible for mulching, edging, laying sod, spreading rock, etc.

    Responsibilities:

    • General landscaping (edging, mulching, spreading rock, laying sod, maintenance, etc)
    • Installing hardscape, patio, decorative boulders, etc.
    • Planting trees, perennials, and shrubs.
    • Assisting with irrigation installations.
    • Navigating our online customer database software.
    • Being open to asking questions and problem-solving when/if mechanical issues arise in the field.
    • Showing initiative to finish the job on time, with a high degree of professionalism.

    Requirements:

    • Basic knowledge of tools used in landscaping.
    • Willing to communicate and follow instructions.
    • Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail.
  • We are searching for a responsible, self-starter to be our new Landscape Foreman and manage a number of groundskeeping teams. Landscape foreman's responsibilities include overseeing the construction of outdoor spaces and maintaining existing grounds, monitoring and training workers, supervising the use of equipment, ensuring staff observe safety guidelines and protocols, and completing various administrative duties.  You should also have leadership and communication skill as well as be a keen problem-solver.

    ​Responsibilities:

    • Delegating tasks and overseeing the use of tools and equipment.
    • Recruiting and training new crew members.
    • Assessing progress and making recommendations.
    • Ensuring all crew members obey health and safety regulations.
    • Completing landscape design and construction.
    • Overseeing maintenance of lawns and gardens, and ensuring proper use of pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals.
    • Completing inventory checks and equipment inspections.
    • Preparing spreadsheets and other documents.
    • Providing cost, material, equipment, and time estimates.
    • Scheduling training sessions wherever required.

    Requirements:

    • Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping.
    • Past experience in landscaping/hardscaping and irrigation.
    • On-the-job training as a landscape crew member.
    • Experience in a leadership role would be advantageous.
    • Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions.
